Jasper Dirkse comes from a Dutch family with deep roots in the film and television industry. Surrounded by this creative environment, he was introduced to the world of cameras and production from an early age. At just 14, under the guidance of his family, he experienced the excitement and challenges of the profession for the first time. Fascinated by the dynamic nature of the industry, he eagerly pursued every opportunity to learn and grow behind the camera. In 1985, Jasper officially began his career as a freelance camera assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience on film sets, in television studios, and during live productions.

Jasper’s career took off in 1993 at Cinevideogroup, a leading broadcast facility company in the Netherlands. Starting as a camera and lighting assistant, he quickly progressed to logistics manager and later manager of the lighting department before moving into camera operation. After six years of practical experience and extensive training in camera, photography, lighting, and editing, he established his own freelance venture in 1999. Since then, Jasper has specialized in high-end, all-round camera operations with a strong focus on remote-operated camera systems. His work spans film, broadcast, and corporate productions for both domestic and international markets. Beyond his technical expertise, he has also taken on the role of technical producer, coordinating crews and equipment to meet complex production requirements.
With over 35 years of experience in the television and film industry, Jasper has built expertise across a wide range of national and international productions. He specializes as a professional ENG / EFP / Multicam Camera Operator, Director of Photography (DP), Director, Producer, Remote Camera Operator, PTZ Operator, and Jib Operator.
